Tsuyuhikari is a hybrid of Asatsuyu and Shizu 7132 cultivar. This premium tea is made from only the first flush leaves harvested from late May to early June. This tea has strong natural sweetness yet refreshing. Good balance of Umami and clean astringency. Umami lasts after drinking.
Chemical-free but not organic. “Organic” is a legal term. Organic certification is required to claim “organic”. This farm is a small company and does not obtain organic certification because it costs a lot to obtain the certification. Thus, this tea is not organic.
