Haruno, Tenryu in Shizuoka is known as an “organic valley” where many tea lovers from the overseas visit. The altitude of the tea farms in the valley is from 400m to 500m. Our organic matcha grown in those tea farms has established a reputation as high-quality matcha with refined taste. This matcha has a fresh and elegant aroma, which is one of the characteristics of the tea grown organically in the mountains. The tea leaves we use are grown with no pesticide and no chemical fertilizer and carefully put in the shade for more than 3 weeks before harvesting to increase its natural sweetness.
This matcha has pleasant umami and a strong natural sweetness with a muscat-like aroma.
Very rich and full-bodied mouthful.
