Organic Kanaya Midori
Kanaya Midori is a variety created by crossing “Shizuoka Zairai No. 6” and “Yabukita” in Kanaya Town, Shizuoka Prefecture. It’s one of the rare varieties with a small amount of distribution.
This tea is made from only the first flush leaves harvested from late April to early May, and has a unique aroma and strong natural sweetness yet refreshing. Good balance of Umami and clean astringency.
Brewing Tips
Amount of Tealeaves: 5g
Water Temperature: 70-80C (158-176F)
Amount of Water: 100ml (3.4oz)
Steep: 2-3 minutes
Add more tealeaves to suit your taste.
