Description
Genmaicha Superior
Genmaicha is a mixture of Sencha and roasted brown rice. Nowadays, hulled glutinous rice is generally used for Genmaicha, and we also had used this rice in the past. But one day we received a comment from our customer that “the aroma of the tea is week compared to the one I drank in the past”. So I visited hulled rice producer and tested many types and differently roasted rices, and found deep roasted nonglutinous rice is best for our Fukamushi green tea.
This tea is made from our premium Sencha, and deep roasted nonglutinous rice, well-known as “Koshihikari”, is specially blended.

What an excellent service this company provides. My Genmaicha arrived from Japan to Latvia in Eastern Europe within 7 working days, extremely fast for a standart shipment Zencha provides. But most importantly Genmaicha Superior by Zencha is so far the best tea I have ever came across. Its high quality is proven by strong and fresh taste, brown rice has a perfect touch in overall flavour making it a quite unique, colour is pure green and smell is unressistable. Highly reccomend to experience Genmaicha Superior to anyone who loves Japanese green tea.

Very pleasant variation of the well known genmaïcha. The sencha gives another dimension to the cup and provides an tasteful, refreshing and noble liquor. A fine blend to rediscover a classical.
