Chiran Sencha Kaoru
This Chiran Sencha is made from 100% first flush tealeaves grown in Chiran region in Kagoshima. Unlike the other Kagoshima lineup, this is Fukamushi (deep steamed) and produces intensely green liquor.
1st. brew: extremely rich in Umami and has sweet, slight astringent taste with fruity afternote.
2nd. brew: very good balance of Umami, sweetness and slight astringency.
Amount of Tealeaves: 5g
Water Temperature: 60-70C (140-158F)
Amount of Water: 120ml (4oz)
Steep: 2-3 minutes
Add more tealeaves to suit your taste.
