This Chashaku, Matcha Bamboo Tea Scoop, comes from Kyoto. The outside of the Chashaku is coated with Urushi lacquer. The inside, the side that scoops matcha, is not covered with Urushi lacquer. Tsubo-tsubo is a traditional Japanese pattern related to tea.
How to care:
Use a soft cloth to wipe off the attached tea. Avoid washing with water or using a wet cloth. If it gets wet, wipe it off immediately as it may cause stains. Store in a well-ventilated place and away from direct sunlight.
