Kakewake style chawan, covered with shiroe and straw ash glaze. The piece was crafted using daido, mitake and mishima clay, and done in the reductional fire with a temperature of 1300 degrees.
This chawan is suitable as Nodate-chawan, which is a relatively small matcha-wan and often used for Nodate, a tea ceremony where you can enjoy matcha outdoors. Shipped with an artist-signed wooden box in perfect condition.
