Hohin is a Kyusu specifically designed for brewing Gyokuro or high grade Sencha. Hohin has no handle, and is very small in size as these teas require very little amount of water.
This piece was crafted using daido, mitake and mishima clay, and done in reductional fire with a temperature of 1300 degrees. A delicate, watery blue glaze with fine crackles(kannyu) is stunningly beautiful. Shipped with an artist signed box.
