Description:

This is his recent representative work, which requires 2months for completion and proficient skills.

Make clay in the form of plates, cut plates for parts, assemble parts into the vase, equalize the consistency.
Carving must be done in about 6 hours, before drying, by free hand. Failure won't be tolerated, because it can not be repaired.
Drying-out for 3 to 4 weeks before biscuit firing with temperature of 700 degrees. After biscuit firing, spray a glaze, which is made from Mishima clay that contains high proportion of iron, onto the vase. Spray a glaze like a snow falling for making contrasting density, and done in oxidized firing for about 18 hours until the temperature in the kiln becomes 1185 degrees. Put out fire as soon as the temperature reaches 1185 degrees, because this temperature is a melting point of straw ash glaze, and the glaze will flow over 1185 degrees.
