Full-fledged member of the Japanese Traditional Art Crafts Association.
Member of the Hagi Association of Ceramic Artists
The cteno-incised ornament, called "retsujoumon" requires proficient
skills. Mr. Tanaka is a master of this technique, and only a few person
have these skills among Hagi potters.

Mr. Tanaka's works were picked up by the book titled "contemporary ceramic art in Japan, ceramic art vol.1" published by art box international co.,ltd., which introduces 130 ceramic artists who represent contemporary ceramic art in Japan. |
