Description:
This is a Oni-hagi Wari-koudai style. "Oni" is a kind of ogre who appears in many Japanese folk tales, and told in different characteristics such as: grief, awesome, humorous and inspiring adoration. Wari-Koudai means four separate-legged, raised feet as shown in photos. Coarse mud is mainly used for Oni-hagi. There is a theory that the history of Oni-hagi is older than that of Hagi-yaki.
